Founded in 1889 by Henry David Lee, Lee is an American denim brand with a history dating back over a hundred years, and it is still headquartered in its original home state of Kansas. The firm first began making overalls and jackets in 1912, and it played a big part in improving the quality of denim and in helping to establish the hallmark features of the classic jean that we know and love today (for example, it was one of the first companies to introduce a zippered fly). For many decades Lee was one of the country's leading manufacturers of workwear for the blue collar market, but in the 1970's it rebranded itself as a manufacturer of premium leisure apparel.

These days Lee jeans are known for their rugged, authentic look, their high grade, comfortable stretch denims and their wide choice of fits, crafted to appeal to many different body types. These range from a lean and mean slim fit, to the classic straight leg and roomy regular, all the way up to an athletic fit for men with chunky, muscular legs and a relaxed fit for a slouchy laid back vibe.
